Content Removal, Takedown & Appeals Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026  ·  Operated by Aquarix LLC (doing business as CosplayXclusive)

Any person who appears in content on CosplayXclusive has the right to ask for it to be removed. This policy sets out how to make that request, how we investigate consent, what happens if there is a disagreement, and how copyright (DMCA) takedowns work. It applies to every image, video, live stream and message on the Platform.

1. Removal requests by a person depicted

If you appear in content and you did not consent to being depicted, to it being published, or to it being downloadable, or if you have withdrawn that consent, you can ask us to remove it.

  1. Email contact@cosplayxclusive.com with links to the content and a short statement that you are the person depicted (or their legal representative) and that consent was not given or is void. Use the Report button in the app if you prefer.
  2. We may ask you to confirm your identity so we can be sure the request comes from the person depicted. Identity documents are used only for that purpose and then deleted.
  3. The content is removed from public view immediately upon receipt of a credible request while we investigate.
  4. We review the creator's consent and identity records for the content. If consent was not given, or is void under applicable law, the content is removed permanently and the creator may be suspended or terminated. We resolve every request within seven (7) business days.

2. Disagreements and neutral resolution

If the creator disputes your request and the matter cannot be resolved between you, the creator and CosplayXclusive, we will refer the disagreement to a neutral, independent body for resolution, at CosplayXclusive's expense. The content stays offline while the dispute is pending. We abide by the neutral body's decision. Nothing in our Terms limits this right.

3. Appeals of removal decisions

A creator whose content was removed, or a person depicted whose removal request was declined, may appeal within 30 days by emailing contact@cosplayxclusive.comwith the subject line "Appeal". A different reviewer re-examines the case and responds within seven business days. Appeals concerning consent that remain in dispute are referred to the neutral body described above.

4. Copyright (DMCA) takedowns

CosplayXclusive follows the notice-and-takedown procedure of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

  • Filing a notice: email contact@cosplayxclusive.com with the location of the infringing content, identification of the copyrighted work, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised, and your physical or electronic signature.
  • Action: we remove or disable access to the content within 24 hours of receiving a valid notice and notify the creator.
  • Counter-notice: the creator may file a counter-notice; if the claimant does not start court proceedings within 10 business days, the content may be restored.
  • Repeat infringers: accounts with three or more valid notices are permanently terminated.

5. Removal on refund, chargeback or account closure

When a purchase is refunded or charged back, the buyer's access to that content is revoked. When a creator's account is closed or terminated, their content is removed from public view within 24 hours and deleted from our systems within 30 days, except for records we are required to keep for legal, card-network or safety reasons.
